Car insurance will protect you against accidents, but what happens when your car simply decides it's had enough? Breakdowns happen to the best of us.
That's why we've teamed up with Green Flag Motoring Assistance. For just £69.30 (that works out to £5.78 a month) Green Flag are ready to rescue you 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. And they get 8 out of 10 breakdowns fixed on the spot.
Here's what we'll do:
We'll sort you out if you break down at home or away from home.
You'll get an hour's free labour on the spot, and if that's not enough, we'll take your car to a garage to get it repaired.
Or we can take you and your car home or to your preferred destination.
And you'll get a choice of:
Hire car for the completion of your journey (subject to availability).
Cost of alternative transport for completion of your journey.
B&B accommodation while repairs are being carried out.
Here's what we won't do - slap on a mileage charge or ask you to pay a callout fee.

What's covered?
We offer three kinds of car insurance - take a look at the table below and choose the one that works for you.
Comprehensive-The daddy. You and your car will be covered for any accident you have, whether it's your fault or not. You're also protected against your car being stolen, fire damaged or broken into, and we'll give you a courtesy car while it's being repaired (subject to availability when you use an approved repairer).
Third party, fire and theft-You're covered for damage you do to others, if your car catches fire or someone steals it. But cause an accident and any repairs to your car will be coming out of your pocket.
Third party-The bare minimum you need to be on the road. If a bump's your fault, damage you do to other people's cars or property is covered. Whatever happens to your car isn't. And you can only have this cover if your car's worth less than £5,000. This cover's only available by phone - if you'd like a third party quote you'll need to give us a call.

You can choose to add on:
No Claims Discount Protection
If you've had car insurance in your name for a year or more and haven't made a claim, you can get a 'no claims discount'. When you've got at least four years' no claims discount you can protect it. It costs a bit extra to add this to your cover but it means if you do have to make a claim, we'll pay it and then when you come to renew your policy, you keep your no claims discount. Uninsured Loss Recovery.
If you've got Uninsured Loss Recovery and you're injured in a road accident that's not your fault, we'll pay the legal costs (up to £50,000) to help you recover losses not included in your insurance policy - like your policy excess and hire car costs. And we'll also help you claim compensation for death or injury. On top of that, it covers any authorised drivers and passengers travelling with you at the time of the accident. Making a claim
If you have an accident or breakdown, we'll make it as easy as possible to sort things out.
If you have an accident

First things first - stay as calm as possible. Car accidents leave most people a little shaken up so bear this in mind and try to avoid any nasty road rage incidents.
- If there are injuries, call the police and an ambulance right away.
- If anyone else is involved, exchange personal and insurance details with the other driver.
- Get details of any witnesses and take down the registration of all vehicles involved, in case you've been given duff info.
Zero.
- If you think it will help, draw a diagram and jot down what happened, while it's still fresh in your mind.
- Call us with all these details, the sooner the better.
- We'll aim to get your car fixed and back on the road as soon as possible.
- If you've got comprehensive cover, we'll also fix you up with a courtesy car in the meantime. (Subject to availability when you use an approved repairer).
